Gone Bananas.
It's tough and also kind off embarrassing to be a Chinese who doesn't speak Cantonese, Mandarin or Hokkien. The only fluent language I know is English, apart from Malay, the national language of Malaysia. Just like a banana, yellow on the outside, but totally white-ish on the inside. Just like a wolf wearing a sheepskin. Just like a pig that thinks he's a sheep dog. I'm digressing. Anyway, my point is, I really regret for not picking up my native language when I was younger. Learning is much more difficult now. I feel nothing but absolute shame, considering the fact that a mispronounciation of a word will either lead to amusement or offense. My utmost problem would be the communication process with Chinese patients. With a Malay, I can definitely speak Malay language. With an Indian, there's a strong tendency for them to communicate in Malay or English, since I speak 'konjo-konjo' (a little) Tamil only. The Day has come...
bismillah.. continue from previous.. dalam kesakitan yang sukar ditahan tu, ana berpaling ke arah abang n lihat jam tangan abang yang masih dipakainya..mungkin balik2 penat sangat dia lupa nak tanggalkan sebelum tidur..pukul 2.30am..subhanallah sakit makin perit! ana hanya mampu merengkok rengkok dan mengerang ke kanan ke kiri je, tak tahu nak buat apa utk melegakan sakit tu..contraction menyerang lebih kerap, dalam 5m sekali tak silap..alhamdulillah dalam pada masa kritikal begitu Allah bagi perasaan mengantuk ku mengatasi rasa bimbang/sakit/risau; bila contraction tak menyerang boleh ana terlelap2 sekejap, walaupun tak lama kerana diganggu balik dgn contraction.. jam 3.30am ana macam dah tak tahan, ana tgk wajah abang kat sebelah, tidur dgn nyenyaknye..kepenatan seharian bekerja tak hilang lagi dari muka dia..ana kuatkan hati, selagi boleh tahan, ana akan bertahan, tak nak kejutkan dia.. by 4am+, lagila..sakit macam apa tak tau nak kata..abang ana kejut, 'abang, tak tahan... this is tragedy!
oh my gawd! i didn't thought that running for student council could involve so much politics. i mean, before, i thought that it was something that wouldn't be that hard. but after the debate a while ago, all i could say is that "i'm no longer excited with the results of the votes, i'm now extremely scared that if i win in the election, i could end up like a zombie!" all i wanted now is just to stay away from that politics and just stay at peace with the small organizations i joined. it's kinda funny though that all those times i wanted that position but when the time comes, i'll be the first one to back out. tsk... well, at least now i know what it's like. experience it really the greatest teacher for stubborn teenagers like me. LOLs.

I am now have been driven to a corner that will (probably) not going to take me on the right route ever again. My trust on Malaysia's political scene has dropped dramatically since last week. This not one sided. To tell truth, i hate to say this but BOTH oppositions and the government has failed to understand and overcome even basic issues now days. Not to mention with the current outrageous M-drama premiering exactly last Saturday still shocked me till now. I'm not going to elaborate on that, but you'll get picture right ? :) Hmm.. suddenly i'm beginning to think like this : "monarchy is probably the best solution after all" Having that thought along, (probably) peoples will stop thinking about politics and move forward to drive Malaysia into her right direction. Wallahualam. p/s : I have zero faith and do not know who's to trust now. Luckily i didn't chose neither of them in the previous national election. Let just say, i just don't in a 'physical' aspect of the overall... (more)
